So Thursday night I get home from school and out of nowhere I start feeling horrible, teeth chattering, four blanets and still freezing, tempeture 103 at one point, body ache, stomach turning, just awful. Thankfully my parents took pitty on me and took care of Stella during the l-o-n-g night. The next day I was 100% but not bad, until night came. I noticed that my right breast was red, warm and soar. Fabulous, a clogged milk duct, just what I need. If all this would have happened last week, I would not mind as much. But I had to cancel my clients for Saturday, missed my grandmother's 80th birthday celebration, and might miss the Race for the Cure that I rounded up my family to do.
In my previous life (aka before Stella), being sick was not so bad. I would have stayed in bed all day, watched movies, taken naps, do nothing except let my body heal. Not now. Try telling a 7 month old that mommy needs a little quite time, a little me time...hahaha yeah right.
